From Leaking Roofs to Rising Dreams: Rachael’s Story of Joy and Growth

Olanrewaju Rachael is a bright, joyful, and resilient 7-year-old girl whose smile carries a strength far beyond her years. Raised by her single mother, Rachael has grown up in a small plank house that struggles to shield them from the realities of harsh weather. During heavy rains, the roof leaks, and nights become long and uncomfortable, often leaving her unable to sleep.

Life at home is not easy. With limited financial means, her mother works hard but is often unable to provide consistent, well-balanced meals. There are days when food is uncertain, and nutrition is not guaranteed. Yet, in the midst of these challenges, Rachael’s spirit remains unbroken. She laughs easily, plays freely, and carries a natural curiosity about the world around her.
